The Border Green Energy Team (BGET) has been working to implement renewable energy and sustainable technologies along the Thailand/Burma border since 2005. We are a lean organization focused on reaching those in need with appropriate technology and the training to utilize it. Our technologies include solar electricity, micro-hydro, bio-digesters, solar cooking, water pumping, and water purification methods. These solutions have been provided to various ethnic villages, refugee camps, migrant schools, children’s homes, medical clinics, and relief organizations on both sides of the Thailand/Burma border.
